It’s vacation season once again! And in this episode, I will be talking about five books that I highly suggest for you to read. I believe that this set of books will help you gain new perspectives about life— the plans that you set out for yourself and the simplest, most important, things in life that people need to reflect on. I’ll be stating the important points of each book as we go through this episode: 

1.The Top Five Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware – this book is written by a nurse in the intensive care unit and observed the five most recurring regrets people have on their deathbed.

2.The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle – a spiritual and profound book that talks about the presence and the essence of knowing one’s purpose. 

3.The One Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results by Gary Keller – a book that focuses on one question: “What is the one thing I can do such that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?” It will also delve into how multitasking as a lie is being sensationalized and accepted as a skill.

4.Atomic Habits by James Clear – focuses on a four-step model for human behavioral framework in breaking away from bad habits and creating good ones.

5.Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes are High by Kerry Patterson, Al Switzler, Joseph Grenny & Ron McMillan – this views crucial conversations as a discussion between two or more people where the stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong.
